A cannabis-infused edible brand her*by, founded by a female entrepreneur, offers a range of micro-dose edibles for enhanced
functionality and a mild, relaxing experience, with minimal side effects.
Three types of cannabis were studied: sativa, which gives you an energy boost; indica, known for helping you relax; and hybrid, a mix of both that offers a balanced experience.
Since the products are cannabis-infused edibles, they must comply with all government regulations. The biggest challenge was designing a child-proof feature for the paper box packaging.

The logo has been refined with a lightweight modern serif typeface. To add a unique touch, the asterisk symbol was reimagined; it traditionally has six points, but has been altered to feature seven, symbolizing a cannabis leaf.
The final design adjustment involved aligning the head serifs of the letters 'h' and 'r' with the edges of the modified asterisk to achieve a more cohesive appearance.
The reason for naming it her*by is because it's a word which is combined with “her” and “by”, targeting a female audience, while also incorporating “herb” to convey a sense of being cannabis products.
The product options include chocolate bites, sour gummies, and caramel chews, each available in three delightful flavors: sativa, hybrid, and indica strains. The packaging box colors are specified for each of the nine products.
her*by's packaging features a fully paper-based child-proof mechanism, making it both recyclable and eco-friendly. Additionally, the packaging is completely opaque, keeping the contents discreet and securely out of children's reach.
her*by's target audience includes busy female professionals who work long hours and turn to cannabis-infused edibles as a way to relax and unwind after a hectic day.
